Obituary for Nancy Jones
Nancy Jones, 85, passed away on August 7 surrounded by her family. Her family was her joy and priority, and she was the very heart and soul of it. She leaves behind her husband (and high school sweetheart) of 66 years Roy and their five children Steve (Anita), Bob (Audrey), Greg (Margo), Julie (Steve) and Brad (Carol). She also leaves behind six grandchildren Michael (Amy), Shannon (Dave), Lauren (Ben), Derek, Tyler, Rachel and five great grandchildren Michael, Hunter, Myles, Wayde and Charlotte - they were the loves of her life. Nancy is also survived by her three sisters of Minnesota, Sue Clarity, Georgeann Wright (Andy), Linda Shannon (Dennis).
A celebration of life will be held at Ascension Lutheran Church, 351 Ascension Drive, Casselberry, Florida on Friday, September 10 at 3pm. A reception will immediately follow.
Nancy loved flowers, and she loved the staff of The Gardens of DePugh Nursing Center, 550 West Morse Blvd., Winter Park, FL 32789, that took such good care of her. If you would like to honor her with flowers or by making a donation in her name to The Gardens at DePugh, the family welcomes either.
