Sandra (Sandy) Kay Gore, 69, of Altamonte Springs, FL, died on May 7, 2020. Sandy was born to parents Willard Gurnie Strickland Sr. and Mildred Massey Strickland, on November 27, 1950 in the City of Sanford, FL.

Sandy worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for 26 years at Lutheran Haven Assisted Living Facility. Driven by her Christian faith, Sandy cared for and loved her residents deeply. She always spoke highly of her residents and co-workers.

Sandy is survived by 3 Daughters, Shelley Noelle Ammerman, Angela Tracey Muzzone-Rivera and Stephanie Elaine Slack. 3 Son-in-laws, Aaron Ammerman, Mickey Rivera and Ryan Slack. 3 Grandchildren, Kayla, Donovan and Brayden. Siblings, Larry (Amelia) Strickland and Glenda Kapinkin. Brother-in-law, Eric Pearson.

Sandy was preceded in death by Willard Gurnie Strickland Sr. (Father), Mildred Massey Strickland (Mother), Bubba Strickland Jr. (Brother), Sylvia Reynolds (Sister) and Brenda Pearson (Sister).

Sandy’s wishes were to be cremated and her ashes spread by her daughters. No services will be scheduled.
