Lynn LINGENFELTER, age 55, has passed away peacefully after a tough battle with cancer. Lynn loved the Lord with all his heart and soul.
He is survived by his children Brent Lingenfelter, Erica Lingenfelter and their mother, Evey Wheeler. He is also survived by his parents, Jerry Lingenfelter and Deb Frederick; his twin sister, Lori Evans and his three brothers, Jerry Jr, Michael and Eric.
Lynn was an extraordinary man who battled through unbelievable adversity for much of his life. He gained
fame as a Body for Life National Champion and was a personal trainer for many years. He was an inspiration to many who saw his story in Bill Phillips’ book “Body for Life”.
Lynn had a strong passion for the outdoors. He hiked the entire 2,160 mile Appalachian Trail two times, the first with Evey. He also hiked the Pacific Crest Trail on the West Coast.
A celebration of Lynn’s life will be held at a later time; place and date to be determined.
