Obituary for Lisa Mckeown
"On July 15th, 2021, Lisanne Ciotola McKeown was diagnosed with COVID-19. Even though she was fully vaccinated, she unfortunately lost her battle with this disease after fighting for over a week, passing away on Monday, July 26th, 2021. She was to celebrate her 55th birthday in less than a month on August 19th.
Lisa loved her children, Kathleen, Angela, and Michael, the wonderful worlds of Disney and Universal, and using her CPA certification to help others.
A native of West Pittson, PA, Lisa was a graduate of King's College in Wilkes-Barre, PA. In 2018, both Lisa and her daughter Angela relocated to the Winter Garden, FL to be closer to what brought them joy: Disney World.
Even with this move, she found friends everywhere she went. Between connecting with long lost friends who also relocated to Florida and participating in social events prior to the global pandemic, she enjoyed being out and engaging with others.
She will be dearly missed by the many friends whose lives she filled with joyous laughter.
Lisanne was proceeded in death by her father, Anthony "Cy" Ciotola, paternal grandparents, Angelo and Filomena "Mayme" Ciotola and, maternal grandparents, Zigmund and Blanche Pieszala.
Lisa is survived by her three children Kathleen McKeown, Michael King, Angela McKeown, her mother Paulette Ciotola, and her sister Annette Ciotola. Lisa was also anticipating the arrival of her first grandchild in September 2021.
Following Lisa's last wishes, she will be cremated and her ashes spread amongst those she loved and the places that brought her joy.
In place of flowers or donations, the family has a request on Lisa's behalf:
Please take this pandemic seriously. Wearing masks and being fully vaccinated can help prevent more needless losses of lives."
