Obituary for Laura L Siros
Laura Lavaughn Siros (Knapp), 59, passed December 9, 2020, in Orlando, FL. She was born October 1, 1961, in Detroit Mi., the daughter of Laura Louise (Broom) and Edward Lee Knapp III.
Her daughter Carol Siros predeceases Laura, as well as her father Ed and brother’s Eddie and Leo Knapp. Her mother Laura Knapp and her husband Chris Siros survive her. Her daughter Cassandra Siros and her children, JR and Gweny Wright, also survive her, son Michael Siros in addition to his wife Raquel and their children Gavin and Aurora, son Steven Siros in addition to his wife Ariel and their daughter Kaylie. Her sister Lynda and husband Duwayne Wood, as well as her best friend Angie DeCarolis also survive Laura. Laura was loved by many, she was one of the kindest people you will ever met and will truly be missed.
Life is too short so never stop loving is what she lived by. The departure of such kind souls reminds us that angels are watching over us. On December 9 2020, Laura Siros rejoined her heavenly family and gained her wings.
Laura was a compassionate spirit whose passion was caring for others. It would be wrong to say that Laura had a bad heart as it was of pure gold. For 20 years she fought, no matter how sick she was, she was always determined to take care of her loved ones. When anyone else would have broken, Laura stayed strong in good spirits. Through her, we know what unconditional love and perseverance truly look like. There was no quit in Laura. Just because she is no longer here, it doesn’t mean she lost her fight. She will always be loved and cherished by many.
Remember Me:
Don’t remember me with sadness,
Don’t remember me with tears,
Remember all the laughter,
We’ve shared throughout the years.
Now I am contented
That my life it was worthwhile,
Knowing that I passed along the way
I made somebody smile.
When you are walking down the street
And you’ve got me on your mind,
I’m walking in your footsteps
Only half a step behind.
So please don’t be unhappy
Just because I’m out of sight,
Remember that I’m with you
Each morning, noon and night.
