Obituary for John Reed Skinner Jr.
John (Jack) Skinner, 79, was born in Springfield, Illinois. He graduated from Ela Vernon High School, Lake Zurich, IL. Jack's career as a Golf Course Superintendent began at
Glenview Naval Air Station. After moving to Florida, he was Superintendent of several area golf courses.
Jack is survived by his wife, Betty, loving family members, and his precious dog, Ali. His interests were classic cars, sports, reading, movies and music. He inspired us by his hard-working ethic and entertained us with his wonderful sense of humor.
At Jack's request, there will be no funeral service. In his honor, watch your favorite movie or sporting event, listen to music and live life to the fullest!
