John (Jack) Alfred Charles Kavanagh, Jr, 78 of Altamonte Springs, FL, formerly of Boston, MA died on Wednesday August 26, 2020 at Vitas Hospice Lutheran Towers Orlando, FL. He was born on January 11, 1942 in Leominster, MA to the late John A. C. Kavanagh & Ruth E Marcy. He was a very successful commercial real estate broker for 47 years in New England and Florida where he sold office/apartment buildings, motels and mobile home parks. John was an award winning writer/novelist. His favorite pastime was hiking in the woods or at the ocean.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Ann Lauer, who spent 40 years with him; his children: Erin E Kavanagh of San Diego, CA and Darcy Kavanagh Raust of West Yarmouth, MA. His grandchildren: Kristen and Andrew Raust. His brothers and sisters: Mark Kavanagh, Brent Kavanagh, Dale Kavanagh and Judy Woodward. His mother-in-law: Shirley Lauer and his sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Lori and Randy Robinson. He was proceeded in death by his parents.
