Dr. James Edward Adams IV, resident of Oviedo Florida, passed away May 8th, 2023 at the age of 54. James is survived by his loving wife Randi, sons Jimmy and Gary, mother Marlys and brother Joel. He was born in Modesto, California on November 25th, 1968. He met Randi in 1994, they married in February 1996. They moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana later that year. Their first son Jimmy was born in December 1996. Second son Gary was born in March 1999. James attended Louisiana State University and graduated in 2004 with a PHD in plant biology. In 2012 the family settled in Florida
He loved fast cars, dogs, cowboys, gourmet cooking, gardening, jokes, reading, art, music, and most importantly, his family and friends. James was an outgoing person, always ready to help a friend. There was always a spot at his table for anyone who needed it and always a pillow to rest their head if they needed. He loved cooking with his boys and teaching them everything he knew. He was a wealth of knowledge that the world will surely miss. He especially loved his car clubs. CFL Mopar Mafia, Tampa Mopar Society & Mopars of America. He loved going to car shows especially with his wife Randi. He loved to show his multi award winning Dodge Challenger often. His love for cars spread throughout his family as well. A celebration of his life was held at his home with family and close friends on May 15th, 2023. In lieu of flowers please donate to a veterans charity of your choice.”
