Obituary for James Clifford Hawkins
James Clifford (Cliff) Hawkins, Jr. passed away after a brief illness on 5/20/2021. He was 65 years old. Cliff was born at St. Francis Hospital in Miami Beach, FL and spent his childhood growing up in Miami Springs, FL. He moved to Orlando in 1975 and spent the rest of his life living in the Central / North Florida area.



He was preceded in death by his father, James Clifford (JC) Hawkins and his mother, Helen B. Hawkins. He is survived by his sisters Suzanne Avalos (Ralph) MacDonald and Lianne (David) Young, his nephew Joseph Avalos (Amanda) Young, great nieces Helaina, Hadleigh, and Josephine, and great nephew Tyler Simmons.



Cliff was a blacksmith and worked with his father, JC, for most of his career. JC and Cliff could be found doing blacksmithing demonstrations at the Florida Artist Blacksmith Association regularly during the ‘80s and ‘90’s.



He loved the water, his dogs, and his family. He will be greatly missed.
