IN LOVING MEMORY OF A BELOVED MOTHER GRANDMOTHER & AUNT

On Wednesday January 11th, 2023 Deidre Elaine Bannister affectionately known as “Dee” passed away at the age of 72 in Altamonte Springs, Florida. Deidre was born on February 22nd,1950 to Alfonso and Joycelyn Robinson in Norwalk, Connecticut. There she spent her early childhood. She was a graduate of Norwalk High School where she was voted as “most inquisitive”, this was the perfect superlative because that inquisitiveness would follow her throughout adulthood. She was an intelligent, witty, beautiful, social butterfly, with a big personality, and a no-nonsense attitude. She was a “fashionista” and was always elegantly dressed. She enjoyed playing squash and backgammon. Deidre was twice married and divorced, had two children Maurice and Bianca. She later returned to Connecticut to live out her remaining years with the exception of the last three months of her life which were spent in Apopka, Florida with her daughter Bianca and grandson Isaiah. Deidre was a devoted, loving mother, grandmother, and aunt. She was deeply loved and will be missed immensely but will continue to live in our hearts through our fond memories of her.

Deidre was preceded in death by her parents Alfonso and Joycelyn Robinson, sisters, Sharon Robinson, Jacqueline Stallworth, Denise Folsom, her son Maurice Robinson and aunt Winifred Munnings.
