
Chris Lee Hannahan, 64, was an attentive and loving father and doting grandfather. He went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 23, 2025.
He was born in Fort Knox, Kentucky on April 30, 1961 to Larry and Irene Hannahan (Bell).
His hospitable nature and caring spirit were not just found in the way he built his career in the hotel and restaurant industry, but also in his daily life. He was always checking to make sure you were okay or trying to offer you something. He often quoted the phrase from Maya Angelou, “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel” and exemplified these words in his actions. He was generous to his core, would give you the shirt off his back, and the last dollar in his wallet if you needed it. His favorite pastimes were spoiling his children and granddaughter, gardening, and being creative with his hands. He also loved a good television program and a phone call chat with family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, June, mother, Irene, and father, Larry. He is survived by his daughters Meagan (Kenneth) and Kelly (Jessie), the mother of his children, Karen, granddaughter Grace, and brothers John, Larry, Mike, and Rick.
He is deeply missed by his family and friends who love him dearly.
