Charles Everett Guild (Chuck), age 83, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, January 22, 2023.
He was born in Norwood, Ohio in 1939. After serving in the US Marine Corps, he retired from Lockheed Martin. This was a 40 year career that took him and his family all over the United States and Germany finally settling in Florida in 1978. After his retirement he prepared taxes for H&R Block.
He was an avid fisherman, loyal friend and great at fixing things. He took great pride in the space programs and loved to watch the shuttle and rocket launches from his backyard. He was the keeper of the family tree and so proud to update new births and share knowledge and stories of his ancestors.
Charles leaves behind his wife of 62 years, Sandra Guild, daughter Cynthia Ross (Tony), son Michael Guild, grandchildren, Savannah Ross (Kevin), Sarah Nicola (Connor), Victoria Guild, Nicholas Guild, Mikayla Guild and great-grandson Cooper Nicola. He is also survived by his 3 sisters, Marian Towner, Nancy Bennett, Carol McDowell and many, many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his two infant children, Dawn Marie Guild and Sarah Veronica Guild, parents, George and Ethel Guild, brother, Robert Guild and sister, Margaret Bennett.
A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
