Obituary for Carolyn Fisher

Carolyn Sue Nunn Fisher died in Orlando, Florida on February 5th 2023 at the age of 73 after a long battle with cancer. Carolyn was born in South Charleston, West Virginia in 1950 to loving parents Don and Rena Nunn.


Carolyn is survived by; her only child, Abby Mallon (Sean) and grandchildren Megan and Jack of Fort Worth, Texas. She is survived by her sister Dinah McCallister (Tim) and nieces Cyrena Parsons and Casey Patick of Hurricane, West Virginia. She is survived by her former husband Hobie Fisher of Orlando, Florida.


Carolyn was a graduate of Duval High School and The University of Central Florida. Carolyn was a devout Christian and was a loving Nana to her grandchildren whom she treasured. Carolyn worked as a Property Manager in Orlando at Lucerne Towers. She then worked for the Salvation Army at Catherine Booth Towers in the same role for many years. Carolyn was very devoted to the care of the residents at the Salvation Army and was able to positively impact many lives. When not working, Carolyn enjoyed laughing and spending time with her many friends in the Orlando area.


Carolyn's wishes were to forgo a funeral. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in her honor to the American Cancer Society Road to Recovery.
