Arturo Ruben Alba Romero

November 24, 1944 - October 10, 2022

Arturo Ruben Alba Romero, 77, of Orlando, Florida passed away on October 10, 2022. He was surrounded by his beloved wife, siblings and niece as he left his earthly body to be reunited with his parents and siblings who have gone before.

Arturo was born to Manuel Jesus and Lydia Flor Alba, in Caraz, Peru, South America, on November 24, 1944. He was the fourth child out of ten, four brothers and five sisters. Arturo went to grade school in Peru. He attended a prominent teaching school in Peru, where he graduated with his teaching degree.

In 1973 Arturo was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He loved the church and served in anyway he could. In Peru he worked as a teacher and a principal. In 1984, he came to the United States where he worked in construction. He opened his own handyman business, General Alba Repair.

In July of 2008, Arturo married Raquel Cecilia Quintana Giannoni, in the LDS Orlando, Florida temple. Together they enjoyed cooking and experiencing new foods. Starting new house projects together, even if they didn't always finish them. They loved traveling and spending their evenings together watching movies and anything educational. Arturo never had his own children, but he had an immense love for each of his nieces and nephews as if they were his own.

Arturo was passionate about education all of his life. He had a knack for being extremely creative, especially when creating new ways to work with his tools and handiwork. Arturo was a generous man, especially to his family and those he loved. His family was his prime concern and held them close to his heart always.
