Obituary for Aida Morales
Aida Morales, 77 of Oviedo, FL passed away peacefully on December 16, 2021 with her daughter, son, and granddaughter by her side.
Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on December 28, 1943, Aida was the daughter of late Joaquin Almodovar and Aurea Padilla. She was predeceased by her husband Louis Morales, beloved partner Wesley Mayes, and her four children Aida, Vinny, Belinda, and John.
Aida will be forever missed by her family including her two daughters, Maria Gambino and Debra Rio, her three sons, Louis Morales, Edward Swinford, and Richard Morales, and her grandchildren, Angela Gambino, Glenn, Selena and Barry Harvey, Angel Otty and Stephanie Rio, Francisca and Miguel Morales, Lauren and Madison Swinford, Richie Morales, and multiple great grandchildren.
During Aida’s early years, she worked on a farm, had a passion for dancing, music, cooking, and being a mother and homemaker. Aida and her partner, Junior, moved to Florida five years ago to live with her daughter (Maria), granddaughter (Angela), and fur grandbaby Twinkle. Aida was cared for by her daughter Maria and her caretaker Rosemarie until her final day here on earth. Aida adored her daughter and granddaughter, who she called her pattycake – she never missed a day of telling someone about being the first person to hold Angela (granddaughter) when she was born. Aida loved going out to dinner with her family, playing with her granddog Twinkle, and watching her favorite shows. Her heart and love for her family is infinite, she was a true angel on earth.
